Abyssite of Discernment: !! made easy
There is a new Abyssite that can now be obtained that would make exploiting NM weaknesses much faster. It is the Abyssite of Discernment, and it is obtained from clearing all 9 zones and all 6 caturae. I realize this is a bit of work to obtain, but it can increase the number of NMs we fight in a single run.
For those not familiar with it, it gives hints on what weapon or element to focus on.
- Message received for yellow/green weakness hints: "The fiend appears vulnerable to <element> elemental magic!"
- Message received for red weakness hints: "The fiend appears vulnerable to <element> elemental based weapon skills!"
- Message received for blue weakness hints: "The fiend appears vulnerable to <weapon type i.e polearm, dagger, etc> weapon skills!"
I did some NM fighting with someone who had it, they were able to trigger the !! in a matter of moments. Given the constant headache of getting TP for an alliance and the time involved, I think this is worth pursuing.
